Creating is enjoyable. But before you commit to any project it’s great to consider if the end result will be something that you, or someone else, will enjoy as much.
Before you begin, prepare your supplies and find a lovely spot for yourself. May be you’ve
got a basket where you can store your supplies while you’re working? It’s all about the process and grounding through making. Most importantly, have fun making it!
Thank you to Svetlana Bell from Ferntales for sharing this beautiful pattern with us.

Autumn has a special kind of magic. It’s the perfect season to cosy up in your favourite chair, a steaming cup of tea cradled in your hands, and get lost in the pages of a good book. To celebrate this cosy and contemplative time, I’ve designed something that intertwines the beauty of reading with the dark, moody charm of autumn.
This handmade bookmark, crafted from pure wool felt, is a delight for the senses—soft, warm, and wonderfully tactile. It’s more than just a bookmark; it’s a little piece of art that carries the spirit of the season.
Whether for yourself or for someone you hold dear, this heartfelt creation makes a thoughtful and cherished gift. With easy-to-follow, detailed sewing instructions, you’ll be able to craft your own autumn-inspired felt bookmark—something truly personal and sweet to accompany your autumn days.
