Nick Wilson: Celebrated Quilter, Creative Visionary

Nick was taught to sew, as a child, by his mother and therefore has a sentimental connection to sewing. His passion for quilting truly began in the early 90s and more recently he has become known for his innovative quilt designs and techniques that push the boundaries of what a quilt can be. He has experimented with various tools and mediums that would not generally be found in traditional quilting.

In more recent times, Nick has been sharing his passion for free-motion quilting through classes and workshops, encouraging other quilters to move outside their comfort zone and explore the freedom that it gives. Nick is an inspiring and patient teacher who understands the challenges that can arise when you try something new.
