Music legend Kate Ceberano has designed and embroidered large scale vibrant quilts – see them at the fair!
During the quiet hours of pandemic lockdown, Kate turned to painting and embroidery to story-tell while live performances were curtailed.
Kate’s designs are hand-stitched by a team of four women in the Philippines, with lyrics and personalised stories lovingly hand-stitched by Kate herself.
From South Australia, this art group comprising Jenny Bates, Maxine Fry, Suzanne Gummow and Kerrie Head, challenged themselves to explore new techniques, media and ways of working.
