Victorian Quilters 30th Members’ Exhibition
Celebrate 30 years of Victorian Quilters at this year’s Craft & Quilt Fair, with a spectacular showcase of creativity, craftsmanship and quilting excellence.
The 2026 Victorian Quilters Challenge theme is Half-Square Triangles, with an inspiring collection of entries on display. Visitors can also enjoy featured hexagon quilts, sewing demonstrations and a selection of Very Snuggly Quilts.
This year’s featured quilters are Helen Collins and Yumi McKey, with beautiful works including Rose ‘Ruby Celebration’ by Nicola Picken. Pictured right.

Unseen Creatures: Let the Maribyrnong Thrive
Discover the hidden beauty of the tiny creatures that call Melbourne’s waterways home through the remarkable Maribyrnong Community Quilt.
Bringing together science, art and environmental advocacy, Unseen Creatures: Let the Maribyrnong Thrive highlights the importance of restoring healthy river flows and protecting often-overlooked aquatic ecosystems.
More than 100 participants have contributed to this special community project. See the finished work up close and learn more about its story in the Quilt Showcase. Pictured left.
Days for Girls
The Quilt Showcase will also highlight Days for Girls, a valuable charity and education program supporting girls and women with the resources, education and support they need to manage menstrual health and personal care.
Celebrating Quilting Milestones
Geelong Quilters will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a special display showcasing the creativity and history of their group.
Kilmore Quilters will also present a display inspired by Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler Quilt from the popular Elm Creek Quilts book series by Jennifer Chiaverini.
